BIO:
I am a Licensed Educational Psychologist with over 20 years of experience, specializing in the assessment and intervention for learning, emotional, intellectual, and executive functioning challenges. Guided by a strengths-focused approach, I strive to understand each individual’s unique learning profile so they feel empowered, and their families and IEP teams gain a deeper understanding of the child and what may be getting in the way.
I am a firm believer that behavior is a form of communication. My work involves investigating the “why” behind behaviors to uncover root causes and provide actionable insights that support the client’s growth and development. My passion lies in understanding the barriers the client may be experiencing, emphasizing their strengths while addressing areas of need.
I specialize in conducting psychoeducational evaluations, Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs), ADHD and autism assessments, Educationally Related Mental Health Assessments (ERMHAs), executive functioning coaching, and addressing any other challenges a student may be experiencing. I also provide counseling services, parent coaching, and work closely with families to support their child’s unique needs. With extensive experience in supporting individualized educational programs (IEPs) and tailored learning plans, I collaborate closely with parents and school teams to advocate for the student’s needs.
My goal is to empower students and their families by fostering a sense of agency, resilience, and confidence. By understanding and honoring each learner’s strengths and challenges, I help create pathways for success, ensuring every student has the tools they need to thrive.
