Griffin Snyder, Licensed Educational Psychologist #4644

Services: Psychological Testing

Bio: Hello and welcome! I’m a licensed educational psychologist with nearly ten years of experience as a school psychologist in the Bay Area and Sacramento. I earned my Master’s in Counseling from CSU East Bay, where I also focused on deepening my understanding of social justice issues that impact students' mental health and academic progress.

My primary area of expertise and passion is psychological assessment, particularly in preschool through junior high school settings. I also have several years of experience as a Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) Coach, a framework for supporting both general education and special education students. I have a deep understanding of the education system and love leveraging this knowledge to help families navigate the often complex world of special education and IEPs.

I bring a wealth of experience in assessing, writing IEPs, and working with students with learning differences (dyslexia, dyscalculia, dysgraphia), autism, ADHD, challenges with executive functioning, anxiety, depression, and intellectual disabilities.

Outside of work, I enjoy rock climbing and board games. My simple pleasures include Sunday crossword puzzles and coffee.
